Submission Requirement:

The authors to submit their papers in our journal are first strictly required to use the template file, the link of which is given below. The papers which are not provided in our template file and/or do not follow the format will not be taken into account for editorial process. Second, the authors are also required to fill out the Ethics Committee Approval the link of which is given below.

Author Guidelines:

  • Journals require specific formatting and structure guidelines to maintain consistency and clarity. The manuscripts should be formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spacing, and 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • The title page should include the title, author(s), affiliation(s), and corresponding author details. Papers typically have a word limit ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 words for full articles, with abstracts limited to 150–300 words.
  • Manuscripts NOT in line with the JILILES's guidelines will be ignored without any notice.
  • As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Authors who publish with Journal of Indian languages and Indian literature in English (JILILE) agree to the following terms:

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in JILILE.
  • Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in JILILE.
